About the Event
At Holy Name of Mary, the Care for Creation ministry has been deeply involved for three years in living the encyclical of Pope Francis, “Laudato Si, On Care for our Common Home” through monthly speaker/film events, public advocacy and spiritual activities. We hope to inspire and be inspired by what is being done at our sister parishes in northern Westchester.
The program will include
- A Climate Reality presentation (audio-visual)
- An overview of Laudato Si
- A brief overview of what the Care for Creation team has organized
- An intro to Global Catholic Climate Movemen and the “Season of Creation”
- Sharing, discussion, planning.
